Exporting a Postscript Document From Quark 5.0

Before you procede!

It is very important to check the usage in your Quark document to ensure that all of the fonts and images are linked and updated.

 

 

PDF Preferences

In the Quark Preferences dialog box.

Choose (Create Postscript File for Later Distilling)

 

 

 

 
Export Document as PDF

From the File Menu choose Export -> Document as PDF

 

 
Export PS File
Name your .ps file accordingly and choose the Options Button to create Postscript setting

 
 

 
Hyperlinks Tab

Everything should be grayed out as the example to the left.

 

 

 
Job Options

Since only a Postscript file is being generated the job Options settings should look like the example on the left.

 

 

 
Output Tab

This is the most important Dialog box so please set it exactly as shown.

Check OK and Save Away!
